June Holiday Carnival At Resorts World Genting!

I was back at Genting last weekend (5-6 June),  which is also the 3rd invitation from Resorts World Genting for me to experience their exciting offerings!

This time I brought Daniel along with me to check out two of their June Holidays special programmes:

1) Spacetastic Adventure With Ice Age: Collision Course
Held from 4 June to 24 July 2016, in line with the release of the upcoming movie.

The Collision Course is an educational interactive 10-minute game that allow a team of 2-4 to help Scrat finds his way back to Earth! The 3 game booths are all about the wonders of space!

Here's one of the booth which test your knowledge about the Universe!

We had the honour to meet Crash and Eddie, the loud and rambunctious pranksters!
They look a bit intimidating with those sharp teeth and long tails, but they looks cute with those furry bodies!

Don't miss your chance to get up close with characters like Sid, Scrat and Diego at the various meet and greet sessions from 4-12, 18, 19, 25, 26 June and 5-10 July!

2) Power Rangers Live In Genting
Held from 28 May - 26 June, 4pm and 9pm daily.

The million-ringgit production is the first Power Ranger live show held in Southeast Asia and the first ever Dino Charge live show in the world! The 25 Japanese and 15 Malaysians cast and crew brought us an exciting 1 hour battle between Sledge's Army and Power Rangers!

The most heartwarming moments for the 80-90s kids was the special appearance of our familiar Mighty Morphing Power Rangers!!!!! I remember having their school bag when I was in Primary 5!

After each live show, you also get to have a photograph session with Dino Charge Power Ranger for RM38 as a keepsake memory!

Look at our satisfied faces!

In this trip, we were introduced to 2 restaurants that were new to us!

1) The Food Factory, 3rd floor of First World Hotel

Featuring cuisines from both East & West, The Food Factory is definitely a good choice for family who want a quality meal that satisfy both the tummy and wallet with wide selections at affordable prices!

June Promotion:Hi-Tea Buffet (12-5pm) at RM 38nett (Adult), RM 10nett (Child)
Dinner Buffet (5.30pm -9.30pm) at RM 68 (Adult) , RM 28 (Child)

2) Rajawali Coffee House, Awana Hotel

Overlooking a beautiful golf course with fresh mountain air, dining at Rajawali is a relaxing experience after a long day. The restaurant offers a wide selection of local and Western delights from appetisers, mains to desserts!

"Can't wait to dig in!" says the hungry boy. :D

It was a nice short getaway from the buzzing life in Singapore!
If you are looking at a weekend trip, I suggest that you can follow our itinerary where we travel up to Genting at 10pm, reach 5am for a short nap till 12pm, and enjoy the rest of the day with fun activities and great food!

Check out other fun things you can experience while the theme park is still in progress!
